For some of us, adventures are a not a luxury, they are a necessity. Travel and adventure are the spice of life—and it’s a thin gruel without it. It doesn’t mean a credit card for a Viking Cruise, it’s the spirit of the thing. Make different choices. Eat cuttlefish (but only once). Say the wrong thing–or maybe, after a glass of wine, your French suddenly blossoms. Get off a train in the wrong place (done that). Pretend you’re someone else for a moment and dare to make mistakes. You can’t go home again only because you won’t be quite the same person when you return home.
